Abstract

Each day, seeking to address the never ending challenge of helping students with learning disabilities, my Baltimore Lab School and Lab School of Washington (LSW) colleagues remember a similar situation in the past and we try to recall what Sally taught us. Sally taught me a lot in my seven years of working with her team in Baltimore to expand the Baltimore Lab School from only 18 lower school students to over 120 lower, middle and high school students. Sally made a significant contribution to my idea of what it means to be a  psychologist. She challenged my training, my idea of service delivery and my overall view of the personhood of the child or adolescent with learning disabilities and/or ADHD.
