Abstract

This study investigated the vocational outcomes for a group of young adults with multiple learning disabilities who attended a two-year post-secondary program. One hundred graduates of the program representing the first 15 years of the program participated in the study. Results indicated that large numbers of graduates were employed in both full and part-time jobs. Data are also presented on levels of employment, types of employment, the job search process, and on the length of time the graduates were employed. Short personal vignettes are included to give a sense of the vocational lives of these graduates.
