Abstract

The research in this paper, presented to the LDA meeting on March 6, 1996, represents the hundreds ofNICHD-funded investigators throughout the country devoting themselves to research in learning disabilities. The great strides discussed reflect not only the accomplishments ofus as scientists, but the contribution of parents and advocates for the millions of children suffering from learning disabilities. It is through your support of this NICHD program that the remarkable advances in learning disabilities research that are presented in this paper were possible.
